Accounts Assistant - Trawden, Lancashire
This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant with Sage 50, bookkeeping and payroll experience to join a growing, family-friendly business.
Located a few miles outside Burnley / Nelson on the Mainline M3 bus route and with free parking free on-site, the company is growing, busy and looking for an experienced bookkeeper with payroll experience.
Working 35 hours/week between 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday (with scope to modify start and finish times to suit your needs) in a small, friendly office and reporting to the Accounts Office Manager, the role entails purchase & sales ledger work, general bookkeeping using Sage 50 accounts, bank reconciliations, Sage payroll and Sub Contractors Submissions.
Duties will also include basic office admin, answering the telephone, taking messages, opening post etc.
The successful applicant will be experienced and comfortable with: • Sage 50 accounts software • Sage payroll • Purchase & Sales ledger • Credit Card Analysis and Reconciliations • General bookkeeping, bank reconciliations etc • Word and Excel • General office admin • Answering telephone calls & taking messages
The company offer a friendly, welcoming working environment with free on-site parking, a negotiable pay rate circa £11-£13 per hour negotiable depending on experience, and some flexibility in start and finish times.
