Claims MI Analyst - West Sussex, West Sussex
An international insurance company with a strong presence in the UK Motor Insurance market are seeking to expand their operations in the UK.
They specialise in niche motor cover and their solid market knowledge and experience enables them to create highly targeted products for the whole of the Motor Insurance industry.
Due to expansion they are now seeking a Claims MI Analyst to join their busy team in West Sussex.
You will be responsible for creating, analysing and maintaining an accurate and relevant MI suite for the Claims function
Key Responsibilities
\" Liaise regularly with Group Claims Manager to review claims MI requirements
\" Create initial suite of claims MI reports required and deliver new scheduled and adhoc claims reports as required and to agreed timescales
\" Assist in analysis of claims data (daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis) to identify positive and adverse trends
\" Maintain all claims MI to ensure constant availability of information
\" Assist in population of CPRM report
\" Maintain MI skills
\" Liaise with actuaries, underwriters, operations and others to ensure data quality is maintained and used appropriately in MI
\" Adhere to FSA, TCF and Data Protection Regulations
\" Act as a key point of contact for queries relating to Claims data Key Skills and Knowledge
\" 2 years experience working with data and MI in an insurance environment
\" Understanding of personal insurance products
\" Understanding of insurance data and MI and how it is used within the business
\" Good level of education ideally with mathematical and statistical qualifications and experience
\" Good understanding and experience of using relevant IT and technical BI packages in insurance
\" Understanding of SQL or SAS coding
\" Excellent Excel skill with exposure to VBA
\" Excellent communication skills
