A Times Top 30 company are looking for an analytical individual to join their Operational department. The key purpose of this role is to ensure that policy and insurance claim referrals are dealt with within the agreed KPI and SLAs, to resolve underwriting complaints, maintaining key (Underwriting, Claims and Complaints) relationships and act as a referral point for the Operational Underwriting department and wider business.
* Use the relevant regulatory, underwriting guidelines and investigation methods to make informed decisions regarding indemnity on policy and claim referrals including void, cancellation and repudiation decisions. * Ensure that premium leakage is identified and limited through the adherence to departmental processes. * Act as a liaison point between the Underwriting department and Operational Underwriting, dealing with broker issues and underwriting queries. * Maintain a communicative relationship with the Claims department to ensure that referrals are dealt with within agreed SLAs and an excellent customer journey is maintained. * Communicate with the Complaints teams to provide underwriting guidance on complaints and FOS queries. * To act as a referral, point on indemnity and underwriting queries for brokers and the wider business * To review and deal with underwriting complaints ensuring an appropriate and fair resolution. * To ensure that all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements are met
